Melanie began her professional career working in the real estate title insurance business.  Her career spanned fifteen years and included real estate title examination, underwriting, commercial closings, agency marketing and management. In addition, she was licensed to sell real estate in Virginia and Florida.

While taking time off to raise three children in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, she volunteered working on various committees and performed many leadership roles within the community.  Five years ago, Melanie and her husband moved to Back Bay, at which point she re-entered the job market. She was employed by Harvard Law School to assist in organizing and facilitating the internationally recognized Program on Negotiation for Senior Executives. 

Melanie has now switched gears and returned to her roots in Real Estate as a Residential Sales Associate with Otis & Ahearn's Back Bay Office.
