Bill Shirreff
After ten years of real estate experience, I still draw on my 20 year career as a consulting engineer and what seems to be an endless investment in education. Understanding structures and mechanical systems helps me to help customers develop confidence in the properties that I show and list for sale. I love to represent sellers and to become intimate with their property’s physical space and features. My formal education (a degree in engineering, an MBA and various college work ranging from Fine Arts to Weather and Climate) has all been useful: finance, negotiation, marketing, macro and micro economics and accounting from the MBA program, proportion and balance from Fine Arts, seasonal orientation of sun and the changes in the qualities of light and warmth resulting from a home's orientation. I've also lived and worked in downtown Boston since 1974, an experience that is invaluable in understanding the development and changes in Boston's neighborhoods over the past 30 years.
